FAQ

  • How is payment handled?
    Members will provide either post-dated checks for the year or an horat kevah.
  • How many people will be in the Design Hub
    There are 2 private rooms. One is for 3 private desks and the door can be closed for privacy. There are 4 other desks in the main space that can be rented and reserved. An additional desk is held for daily rental. A maximum of 10 -12 people at any given time.
  • If I am a member, can I teach a course?
    Senior members have 6 hours per month they can use the main space to teach or hold meetings. Other who want to use the space to teach a course will be charged 80 nis + VAT per hour.
  • What activities and events will take place?
    I am excited to schedule lectures, courses, meetings and more. Those of us who hate marketing can do it all together for Marketing Mondays, There will be Lunch & Learn professional development lectures from the wide variety of vendors and professionals in the industry. I will be giving Color Theory and 3-D Design courses and more. Check the Courses and Events page.
  • When will the Design Hub open?
    We are scheduled to open September 1st. Applications will be accepted as of June 1st.
  • What are the requirements to apply?
    Applicants must be working in the design field and have a registered business (teek). There are a number of member options so choose the right fit for you. There is a commitment from September 1, 2022 - August 31, 2023.
  • Is there a deposit?
    Yes, 2 months fee in a check that is held until end of time period and refunded after vacating space.
  • Who is the Design Hub for?
    Anyone who is in the design industry is welcome to apply. If you have just finished a course or degree or you are a seasoned professional, all are welcome. Applicants must have a background in a related design field and have an open teek.
  • What happens if I join and then cannot stay the whole year.
    We understand things happen in life that may take us away from your commitments. The Design Hub is fully supported by the members so loosing a member puts a drain on the resources. In order to compensate for this, 2 months rent will be retained.
  • How are members selected?
    We hope to create a great group of designers and architects who work well in a space together. Nice, responsible, professional people will be accepted.
